Enjoy signature cocktails or a bottle of Italian vino at Ciccio Mio.

Ciccio Mio, the new Italian kitchen and wine bar on the Near North Side, has made quite the impression since it opened a few weeks ago. While its website might describe the place simply (and accurately!) as "a nice Italian restaurant," the steadily growing list of regular patrons will tell you that this restaurant is so much more than that. The richly appointed interior (in the old Radio Anago space) is a throwback to both the comfort and understated elegance of Italian restaurants from the 1970s.

That nostalgic vibe continues into the menu, which features a variety of old-school favorites like arancini, grandma’s Italian wedding soup, bucatini puttanesca, shrimp scampi, and other classic Italian comfort foods. Pair your meal with one of the house's signature cocktails, or a bottle from the impressive list of Italian vino. Dessert is a pretty easy call to make: take the cannoli.
