A little bit of Mexican heaven for foodies right here.

More likely than not, you’ve had a taco or two (or two thousand) in your lifetime. But have you ever had a tiny taco? Maybe you’ve made a too-small, ultimately disappointing tortilla. But, unless you’ve been to Gordo’s Tiny Taco Bar, the newest addition to Chicago’s food scene, you haven’t experienced all that a tiny taco can be.

With vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options as well as traditional carne-centered options, Gordo’s Tiny Taco Bar offers these meals in miniature on a flour, corn, or taco shell with an assortment of flavor variations to choose from (like mole, fish, rajas, or asada). If you’re feeling indecisive, Their “Tiny Taco Time” menu includes a special “El Gordo’s” option, where El Gordo himself will decide a daily top tiny taco.

While these tiny tacos are Gordo’s claim to fame, there’s even more to enjoy at Gordo’s Tiny Taco Bar. Add rice and beans to your taco or order some “munchies,” such as nachos, empanadas, or esquites, for a slightly larger meal option. And, of course, don’t miss out on their extensive drink menu, with alcoholic and non-alcoholic options alike.

Gordo’s tacos may be tiny but the tastes of Gordo’s Tiny Taco Bar are anything but.
